Ellegance British Roots Shipping Policy

The products displayed in our store are shipped by our international suppliers directly to the address provided during checkout at the time of order completion.

Our shipping, called "Free Shipping" with a Fixed Cost of £0.00, takes between 20 to 30 business days (after the product is posted), depending on the location.
The product is dispatched between 3 to 6 business days after payment confirmation in our system.
We guarantee a tracking code for the customer to monitor the progress of their order’s delivery.
Please note: In certain cases, delivery times may be extended by a few additional business days due to delays, strikes, recess periods, high demand at the postal service, or other situations beyond our control.

Taxed or Duty-Charged Products
The majority of orders (approximately 99%) from the store are delivered by Royal Mail to the customer’s requested address at no additional cost. However, in rare cases, the order may be taxed by UK Customs. In such cases, Royal Mail will send a notification to the address provided at the time of purchase, informing the customer that the product has been taxed. The customer will be asked to collect the package from the designated post office upon payment of the tax.

In this specific situation, we recommend the following procedure:

1.1 – Visit the post office indicated in the notice and collect your package. We are not responsible for any refunds of duties or taxes.

1.2 Postal Dispatch
All purchases made in the store are international, with our distribution centre located outside the UK, and will be subject to customs duties and taxes. As mentioned in section 1.1, these charges are entirely the responsibility of the customer.

Payment Confirmation
After purchase, payment confirmation may take 1 to 3 business days to process, depending on the rules of the payment gateway and the credit card provider.

Logistics Processing
You will receive an email with your tracking code, sent to the contact information provided at the time of purchase. The tracking code will be issued within 8 business days after payment confirmation.

It is important to always check the products upon delivery and refuse acceptance if the packaging is not in proper condition or shows signs of damage. In such cases, please immediately contact our Customer Service team.

Another important note is that products arrive in the UK for customs clearance, and only after that do they proceed to delivery in the destination cities.

Delivery is always carried out by Royal Mail; however, in some cases, such as absent recipients or areas with restricted delivery, Royal Mail may leave a notice for you to collect your products from the nearest post office to the provided address.

If your order contains two or more products, they may be sent in separate shipments, and a tracking code will be issued for each product.

Due to being an international shipment, tracking information on the Royal Mail website may take between 5 to 20 business days after the tracking code is provided. Products damaged during transport are the responsibility of the postal service.

The delivery address must be reviewed by the buyer before confirming the purchase. If the product is returned due to an incorrect address or insufficient data, the customer is fully responsible. If a delivery attempt by Royal Mail is unsuccessful, the product will be held at the post office for collection, but if not collected, it will be returned to the sender.

As this is an import service, all goods are subject to customs procedures or duties. Ellegance British Roots is not responsible for any additional costs (taxes, charges, or duties) imposed by the government on your order.
